iAward Presentation Events
The iAwards are Australia’s peak ICT industry awards and are the only ICT awards to be awarded on a state, territory, national and international basis. The iAwards program is comprised of a number of state events, briefings sessions, webinars and judging sessions that culminates in a major National Event each year. This day includes the Australia 3.0 Forum, Nominees Luncheon, Awards Presentation and Gala Dinner.

Events in Review APICTA 2011 Pattaya, Thailand, November 2011
2011 iAwards Company Category Winners and merit recipients went on to represent Australia at the international APICTA Awards – where they shared the spotlight with the best of the Asia Pacific region in the world’s fastest growing IT services market. In 2011 Australia attained its best results in the history of the APICTA awards thus far, winning three categories outright and three merit awards.

In the biggest field of the program's 17 year history, winners were announced in four Individual Categories, 16 Company Categories and two distinguished achievement awards: the Tony Benson Entrepreneur Award and the Pearcey Medal for lifetime achievement in ICT. ![]() The iAwards have continued to expand alongside growing recognition of the role that technology will play in the future of Australia. The awards were announced at a Gala Dinner in Melbourne on August 4, attended by industry leaders, the Governor of Victoria and Senator Stephen Conroy, among other guests. "The 2011 iAwards field has been very strong across all States and Territories," said AIIA CEO Ian Birks. "There has been a trend of continual improvement in the field of iAwards contenders over the past few years and we are now seeing world class technology innovators consistently emerging at the local level."
