Automating the real-time exchange of hospital inventory levels of critical blood stocks and the status of each unit, this interface frees up hospital pathology laboratory staff from laborious double and triple keying of critical data. It also enables the National Blood Authority to quickly intervene in supply when needed.

Traditionally a paper-based process, "Pathways" (an online web application) now makes the process fun, interactive, rewarding and manageable.

The National Criminal Intelligence Fusion Capability brings together over 20 agencies to share and analyse information and intelligence holdings to develop insights that support collaborative responses to serious and organised criminal threats. Fusion created information technology and tools for data-collection, data-ingestion, data-management, facilitating data-analysis and production of intelligence.


NICUCAM Project, Fujitsu & ADTEC Communications

NICUCAM is a video monitoring system that allows parents of babies in the Canberra Hospital Intensive Care Unit to monitor their children via video streamed to mobile phones and tablets. The system has played a vital role in reducing the stress placed on families with infants in ICU.

Hewlett Packard (HP) Australia in collaboration with the Department of Human Services (DHS) and Specialisterne, known as the Specialist People Foundation (SPF) have developed and implemented a program called the Dandelion Program that provides people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) skilled employment in the field of ICT software testing.

Matt Adcock's PhD research has established new techniques for an expert to guide a novice over the internet in the completion of a physical task. His systems use commodity camera and data projection hardware to demonstrate the benefits of employing real-time 3D sensing directly within the user interface.
