The Biodiversity and Climate Change Virtual Laboratory (BCCVL) is a "one-stop modelling shop" that simplifies the process of biodiversity-climate change modelling. We connect the research community to Australia's national computation infrastructure by integrating easy to use online tools so researchers can perform data analysis/modelling in biodiversity and climate change-related disciplines.


Cloud-based Image Analysis and Processing Toolbox, CSIRO

The cloud-based imaging toolbox provides improved access to biomedical image processing and analysis software packages via web-based user-interfaces. The tools unify imaging functions in the form of blocks of functionality that can be shared, reused and connected into productive workflows for high computation tasks on large image datasets.

Readify partnered with international construction firm Laing O'Rourke to develop a BYOD-oriented app to reduce workplace accidents that was cloud-based, global and mobile-enabled. The Our People app now helps Laing O'Rourke's 28,000+ global workforce operate more safely on job sites, access pay slips, and keep updated on company news.

MarginSuite - Derivatives (MSd) provides Australian stockbrokers with a tool to manage their exposure and their clients' exposure to leveraged financial products, specifically, ASX exchange-traded options. The CLEAR dashboard monitors patient outcomes in correlation to the National Emergency Access Targets, enabling clinicians to modulate operations in response to dashboard safety signals. This has been associated with a halving of deaths in patients requiring emergency admission. Proof of success is the voluntary uptake by nine Queensland hospitals.

SMPA (software-mediated process assessment) is a novel approach that IT organisations can use to transparently self-assess their processes using a decision support system. The SMPA approach determines process maturity based on the international standard for process assessment ISO/IEC 15504, and generates a report that guides improvement of IT service processes.
